Matt has more than 14 years of experience as a financial professional working with individuals and corporate retirement programs. His specialty is using financial education as a tool to drive participation and engagement in 401(k) plans. His expertise on the effect of employee personal financial problems in the workplace has led him to be an invited speaker to industry conferences, professional associations, and community groups.
Matt is a leader in the Human Resources community having served recently as the President of Arizona SHRM State Council and earlier as President SHRM of Greater Phoenix.
Prior to joining the financial world, Matt spent 15 years as systems engineer for the U.S. Military & Government, where he held a secret clearance and specialized in video communications. He is an alumnus of the Fork Union Military Academy, the Virginia Military Institute, and George Mason University.
